DIGITAL PRINTING

Digital printing is an economical approach ideal for short runs and quick turn-around jobs. At Halcraft we offer both color and black & white digital printing performed on one of our two high-speed Xerox printers.
Digital printing is of very high quality that rivals offset printing. Dry mounting and laminating services are available for digitally printed goods.

WIDE FORMAT PRINTING

Wide-format posters and banners in sizes up to 3.5 x 8 feet. These products are available with U.V. inks for products that require long term, fade resistant qualities. The following are some products that may be printed using this method:

OFFSET PRINTING

Offset printing is our highest quality process and is most economical for high volume print jobs. Offset printing uses ink rather than toner to create an image. Ink is still the most cost efficient substrate for producing images on paper and allows the use of high quality coatings and varnishes as well as custom ink mixes and metallic inks. Our offset machines are also connected to a colour management/quality control system which automatically sets the inkflow to within 90% of the intended colour for the press operator. This leaves the remaining 10% for the operator to adjust resulting in faster set up times saving customers time and money. Offset printing is suitable for printing on all kinds of paper and card stocks, along with some vinyls & plastics.

LARGE PRESSES

Our large presses are suitable for full-color high-end products and publications up to 20.5” x 29” in size. .These presses print on higher weights of card that digital printing…up to 24 pt…twice the thickness of digital.

Our 29” 5 color. Heidelberg press with Inline Aqueous Coater can run in excess of 220 line screens giving outstanding shadow detail and a high-end/high gloss or silk finish. Aqueous Coating protects the ink from finger prints, and abrasions. It produces ”Car Brochure” quality….

Our 26” 5 color Press prints 5 colors at once or 2 colors two sides in one pass. This keeps your cost down on 2/2 work while maintaining excellent quality.

SMALL PRESS

Our Small press printing techniques are suitable for jobs requiring 1, 2 or full color printing in sizes of up to approximately 13” by 18”.
